yup!

What's wrong with profiling? We have to protect our friends and neighbors, etc., after all.... The progressive traitors have profiled Tea Party people and our vets as terrorists....

I guees you could say that there are some good Puerto Rican citizens who live here and actually believe in the American way. Most are subversive and have loyalty to their true homeland of Puerto Rico, and want to subvert the American way. They do not hide this fact.... Why should I consider immigrants who do not want to assimilate into our culture and way of life in a respectful way to be American citizens when they boast their anti-Americanism....

Dear Editor:

So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.

Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.

They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.

Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany , Italy , France and Japan . None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan . They were defending the United States of America as one people.

When we liberated France , no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.

And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty , it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

Here is a youtube link to a Tucson, AZ special City Council meeting called by a Councilwoman who is asking for legal advice on how the City can sue the State of Arizona for passing the illegal immigrant bill.

Listen to the answer from the floor by a woman who is a naturalized U.S. citizen from Mexico......This is good.

Default Self-fulfilling Prophecy is not Profiling!

People profile themselves by their actions, attitudes, demeanor, speach, lifestyles, and habits. If you wear pot leaf jewelry, clothing, and drive down the road with a foreign flag hanging from your rear view mirror or not with party music blasting singing along to f**k the police, it is a good bet you will be watched and eventually busted. So, you stereotype or stigmatize yourself based on real life anti-social behavior. Common sense and discernment is what we are really talking about here and not racial profiling. If a certain race or ethnic group sets itself up by their common anti-social demeanor and actions then they become a social self-fulfilling prophecy...or a social disease....

Here is what I have been able to find so far. It does not say anything about the modern Puerto Rican invasion and impact on our smaller urban and rural communites. It is silent! And, yet it has happened/happening for the most part in many of our communities with the aid of local gov't agencies and our tax/deficit dollars....

Last week I was having a discussion with a friend who grew up in Germany before meeting her husband 40+ years ago and moving to the US. She has described herself as a left leaning moderate and had previously spoken disparagingly about neighbors that she said were members of the Tea Party. I asked her what she knew about one of the Republican candidates for the house seat from the Fifth district of Alabama. She said that all she knew was that he was the candidate backed by her Tea Party neighbors so she didn't think very highly of him. You could see the shock on her face when I pointed out that the candidate was black -- I guess that puts the lie to the stereotype that Tea Party members are racists! And that was in ALABAMA!!

Our "Leaders" have forsaken -their own people- with their DIRECT efforts to IGNORE LAW, and make foreign aliens into citizens -contrary to the wishes of the people who trusted them, -and the Constitution of the United States of America. Shame on them all. And they should ALL know better because they took an OATH OF OFFICE to protect AMERICAN CITIZENS "from all enemies both foreign and domestic" when they accepted their job. -specifically, to wit:

" I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God. "

I don't care how many 'migrants' have arrived in this country. They broke the law. LAWS Congress Passed. Laws the government took a lot of our good money to write. Laws now IGNORED by these SAME "Leaders".

To NOT enforce them is dereliction of duty, fraud -and very probably treason.

-NO Pardons, -NO Amnesty- NOT for ONE invading alien!

VOTE THEM ----ALL---- OUT----- in November 2010
