Btw when you posted that nonsense elsewhere back in Oct. 2008 all it took
was 2 posts to rebut you, then you disappeared never to
return again...

Well of course the simple answer is, without going through all the already worn road of rebuttals to the OP's premise, members of Congress are beyond reprove of the executive branch, Wall St. however, is not.

Wold those be the posts I completely refuted shortly afterward? Or the posts that did nothing but call names and duck the subjects?

BZZZTT... but thanks for playing.

But, you cannot dispute any of this, of course (I know you can't, because it is all true, and very well documented).

All of this information was available on the Web before the election of 2008. But people, so intoxicated by the Obama Kool-Aide, were not in the mood for truth. "Blame Bush" was the battle cry.

Obama is still blaming Bush, even though it's obvious that his own Party is the real culprit for our current situation, and Obama himself has made things hundreds of times worse.

In 2003, the White House warning about Fannie and Freddie, was upgraded to a "Systemic Risk that could spread beyond just the housing sector".

If this is true, why didn't the Bush Administration correct the problem, the Republicans had control of both houses of congress for six years?

Because what washigtpon really fears is that people will notice during a electio years that the protecotrs where incompetitent. Seen any headroll at SEC or other agencies that are charged with protecting you. The madoff case is a prime example of the incompetiency of the SEC. They didn;t even do the bascis and see if eh was even trading;which he wasn't. Of course who oversees the SEC;you guessed it congress and the republicans where i power then the democrts after them.Thus popualist movements like the Tea Party; whch neither can control.When most people have no trust i governamnt ans congress ratings keep dropping that sends fear thru washington.
