Should they be allowed to do this. If Obama wanted to send in federal agents to tea party rallies to question and search participants and require them to produce identification, would you be ok with this? I'm willing to bet that no tea party member or conservative would answer this question with a yes or a no.

How much did you bet?

You're such a goof, H. Of all the people posting here, you may well be the looniest of them all. The really sad thing is that I believe you're actually sincere with all your rants - it'd be fantastic sarcasm if that's what it was, but being that you're serious, well, it's just sad.

Under what circumstances? If the entire rally aimed loaded cannons at the White House, then sure, I'd EXPECT that federal agents would go in and kick ass and take names.

If the protest is peaceful, then of course not. DC Police and Federal Agents have learned their lesson on that in the recent years. Most recently the government of DC was ordered to pay mega-millions to protesters who were rounded up at an anti-war rally. For what? Nothing. Just protesting.

Should the government go to tea party rallies and check identification of participants?

For what? Are they going to start serving beer and whiskey shots?

Under suspicions that individuals at the rally might be plotting to commit a crime or may have commited a crime.

NO, however this is exactly the kind of government Obama is trying to put in place. If he continues to move in the direction he is going, we will soon experience how the folks in Nazi Germany lived..

Ok, what crime(s)?

Your motive here is very transparent. You're attempting to get those who say "yes, search illegal immigrants" to agree that Tea Party members shouldn't be subject to a similar search.

You're not as clever as you think you are.
