Obama should be the poster child for the pro-life movement. His mother obviously didn't want to be a mom - but didn't have a convenient abortion - and her son went on to be President of the United States of America! Thank God Obama's mom was pro-life.

Abortion might have been illegal where she lived.

However, if it was, at least she obeyed the laws.

Theoretically, you can say that about anyone who has ever been alive. Yet....we don't.

And the Pro life movement leaders could be a poster child for the Defense industry.

Since they champion every single war that comes alongs while blowing smoke up people's asses about how much they love life.

Hell. Most of them are for the death penalty.

Would it be too much to ask to keep your double standard's in check?

Only if everyone who has been alive was born to a single parent, theoretically speaking.

In all fairness, their is a significant portion of the pro-life movement which is decidedly anti-war as well as being anti-death penalty.

Broad brushes advance few arguments.

But Ann obviously didn't want a child, it was an inconvenience as she hauled him around competing her university studies (Hawaii, Washington, Hawaii) then off to Indonesia before shipping him off to be with his grandparents 1000's of miles away.

We'll stop advocating for national defense if you'll agree that every woman in the nation must, by law, have the baby when she gets pregnant.

I doubt you'll change your pro-abortion stance anytime soon.

See? Two can play this game.

You're right. There are also many who are pro-choice and pro-death penalty..

Don't kid yourself. Abortions---back alley abortions---were almost as easy to get before Roe vs. Wade as they are now. And, yes, his mother did obey the law in Hawaii where he was conceived and born.
