I guess some conservatives aren't going to get to have their cake and eat it too.
The proportion of abortion patients who were poor increased by almost 60%—from 27% in 2000 to 42% in 2008, according to “Characteristics of U.S. Abortion Patients, 2008,” by Rachel K. Jones, Lawrence B. Finer and Susheela Singh of the Guttmacher Institute. This shift is the most striking change in the profile of women obtaining abortions.

What in hell are you talking about? Are you giddy about increased number of women who are aborting their babies, or is is it that more poor/minority people are aborting their children? Or are you just giddy because you think increased abortions give you a political issue to hammer people with?

I don't do giddy, but I have a fine appreciation for schadenfreude.
Explain, please. I don't know what you mean by that statement.
Again, it would seem fairly obvious, if some conservatives deride poor women for "irresponsibly" having children that they "can't pay for" then when those same poor women heed such entreaties, those same conservatives can not then be upset by the increase in the number of abortions these women have to avoid having children that they "can't pay for". In short you can have one or the other, high rates of child birth by indigent women or an increase in the methods that they use to reduce that birth rate.

I second this...in SPADES! The OP reads like "Guess what...more women are aborting! Ain't life GRAND" This is soooo wonderful, This will pi$$ off the conservatives'! I honestly think that liberal hypocrisy knows no bounds. Looking down on peoples faith and beliefs on the basis of compassion and lovey dovey ideals, while crowing like a rooster on meth about rising abortion rates. It is quite disgusting.

The corollary posted is nonsensical and idiotic. Did you read the damn article you posted? Read it again. LOL this is hilarious. Your supposition about conservative personal responsibility propaganda has not a dam thing to due with your posted article. It relates the increase of abortion in the category of poor women to economic conditions. Not personal responsibility. THEY COULDN'T AFFORD THE CHILDREN SO THEY USED ABORTION AS A CONTRACEPTIVE!!!

This ain't rocket science.
Maybe not, but when one statement does not correlate with another one (except in the muddled mind of the one making the statement), an explanation is in order.
The question was reasonable and was asked courteously. Your answer was snarky.
