They can shoot anything anywhere, it's still not an American show. Besides, I REALLY DOUBT IT.
I guess we can be happy it isn't an American show, regardless where it may be shot. Will be interesting to see if this show, if it is ever completed, will every actually air in Australia. I never thought of Australia as a society that would take to this kind of "reality show".

Well, for the purposes of recruitment propaganda for new Jihadists, I do not think they will make a point to differentiate between America and Australia.

I doubt the whole thing. It sounded like it was written by a high school journalism student. But I'm the type of person who hears something that is hard to beleive and, well, has a hard time believing it. I'm usually right but the only way to know is to wait and see if anyone ever hears anything about this ever again...or not.

It's the same one article being talked about on many different sites though. I'm still going to wait and see. Remember, these days news stories can originate from someones Tweet.
