Harry Reid and Pelosi are 2 of the worst people I have ever seen as leaders. Bush rubs their nose in the mud again and again. They are as useless as a milk bucket under a bull! And if Obama doesn't speak out, I may have to reevaluate my support for him as well. This is NOT Change!

I agree Kev, but the alternative is worse. So get rid of the Bush and then there will be no opposition.

I suppose with Obama and the democrats in office he would REVERSE those things? Didn't think so... I hate corruption and Obama, McCain, all of these rotten politicians are just more of the same... I am tired of their rhetoric... when it comes down to the line, corruption wins... everyone has their price... we need people with real morals and real change... someone HONORABLE... I thought with Ron Paul in the race, we were ready for honorable people, apparently Americans don't care much for integrity, its more about their bottom line.. screw the country as long as the government gives me more money... The Republicans give the money to corporations and the wealthy... the Democrats give money to the corporations and to widen their voter base... they could care less about you if they can secure the majority of the voter base, that's all they want and they are willing to pay any amount of taxpayers money to get it... they want continual power because that is what attracts corporate money to them... You want a good president? Choose one with more integrity... one who doesn't "change" their rhetoric when it suits them...

Why you say cave to Bush?

When will people realize that, with of course a few exceptions, both parties are basically the same?

Sure, they have a few different agendas, but for the most part their goal is control, put more control of your life in the government hands.

It comes down to power, the only difference in regards to the parties is how to come about it.

If you really want to change, you have to vote third party....but of course the two major ones have it set up so that a 3rd party under the current system doesn't have a snowball's chance...can't even get into the debates, just look at Nader, in 2000 he polled around 5% before the election and was not allowed in the debates. Without being in the debates, you can not win a presidential election in this country, IMO.

As Ralph Nader said "with the lesser of two evils, you still end up with evil".

Change.. Change.. Change..

I'm here to tell you the grass isn't always greener on the other side. The biggest threat to the US is the fact that our kids are getting lousy educations in our lousy public school systems. The rest of the world is becoming more intelligent, more innovative, more creative than us and that is what is truly the biggest threat to this country.

Change.. I'll take privatizing education, spending less money, and drilling for oil all over the place until we find alternative energy.

Obama's change is basically socialism. Not all change is good change.

I agree Kev, it's very disturbing. However, I understand that the alternative to a democrat controlled Congress will really not do much better. The lack of leadership that Pelosi and Reid are demonstrating is unbelievable, it's almost like they are trying to give people a reason to think twice about whether democrats have the ability to lead with courage and conviction.
I had high hopes, especially from Pelosi, her family is very well respected from my hometown, I hope they can do something to redeem themselves.

One of my daughters and I talked about this for 2 1/2 hours on the phone last night. I am beyond disgusted and disappointed in the response of the democrats who made such promises for the return to responsiblility and respect for the constitution when they sought to regain control of the congress. I am tremendously proud of my Senator, Russ Feingold, as he continues his lonely fight to protect what remains of the constitution and our rights as citizens. While I was not a fan of Bill Clinton, I shake my head in disbelief that our governing body found it necessary to spend millions of dollars and thousands of hours to investigate his personal behavior while not seeming to find it at all important to investigate at all the official behavior of Bush, Chaney, or Rumsfield which has resulted in such destruction to this country.
