You have two huge problems there, Kev. In the first place the article says that a committee of the House approved that bill but not that the House passed it. I really don't think that the President can veto a committee bill. I am sure that Presidents can only veto bills that have been passed by both houses of Congress.

I can understand all the rest of the people here not seeing that only a House committee has approved that action and not the House. However, Obama did promise the closing in his first year and he hasn't tried very hard up to now.
