NewsBusters: This time, and just like other times in the past, "The View" co-host and host of her own HLN show, Joy Behar used the BP oil spill to attack the Bush administration, specifically former Vice President Dick Cheney by suggesting he was really behind the oil spill. Her source - it was an outspoken critic of the Bush administration and aid to former Secretary of State Colin Powell, Lawrence Wilkerson.
Of course..disregard all the other information coming out like the lack of oversight, regulation, inspection, maintenance, short cuts taken by both the government and the company.
I hope people aren't gullible enough to believe this.

This is exactly why women need to work for a living instead of staying home. Being subjected to this type of trash TV kills brain cells. One day one of you fellas are going to come home and your wife will be drooling all over herself and eating soup with a fork.
I seldom watch TV so I don't really know who Joy Behar is but from the clip I just watched I'd have to conclude she's a knee-jerk reactionary blowhard. And I don't mean that in a good way.
But, and it's a huge but, she was quoting Lawrence Wilkerson. Assuming she's talking about the former Chief of Staff to The Secretary of State, Colin Powell, and assuming she's not mis-quoting or taking his statements out of context, then she's not just blowing smoke. Sometimes even an idiot can parrot correct information.
Cheney and his company Haliburton, AKA: Brown and Root Construction, have been screwing people, and Texans in particular, for over 35 years (and that's only as far as I personally remember their crap) with shoddy workmanship and no-bid contracts.
No I'm not a left winger nor do I support BO but I don't have my head in the sand either. There's plenty of blame to go around. I've seen the BS Brown & Root/Haliburton/Cheney can pull up close and personal. If I were to start pointing fingers, I would certainly toss the lion's share of blame into Cheney's lap based entirely on history.
