Shorebaby brought up the point that Obama got more from British Petroleum than anyone else. Which confused me until I realized...BP knew he'd win the election just like the rest of the world did and didn't want to bet on a lame horse. (Ahem, McCain!)

Okay, excuse my poor analogy.

Lots of nifty charts, from The Center for Responsive Politics a non-partisan research group that tracks money in politics.

As you can see, both parties are 'guilty' (assuming you think campaign finance lobbying is a bad thing!) and frankly it's all the more reason we should be pressuring the Obama Administration to get into those campaign finance reforms he and McCain talked about, right?

I know, talk about biting the hand that feeds you! Maybe he should wait until the end of his second term when he has nothing to lose?
