Wow. That's a surprise. I sure didn't see that one coming. They always seemed so in love with one another, even after all those years. Sad. Just really sad.
anyone think Als insane obsession with global warming had anything to do with it. perhaps we should start a list ....name your favorite insane algore moment.........my #1 would have to be the debate with W, when he for some reason thought it would be a good idea to wander towards W when he was answering a question.
Family friend Sally Quinn told CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson that Gore winning the popular vote for president but losing the electoral vote may have done the marriage irreparable harm.
"He's obviously suffered a lot," Quinn said. "He'll never get over that and neither will she."
It's unfortunate. But I realize they wouldn't be divorcing if there was a marriage left to work on. This clearly didn't come easy and isn't being done on a whim. However, I still consider a 40 year old marriage a huge success and they have nothing to feel bad about if they both want to call it quits now. It's not like they will get a prize or anything just for staying legally married.

All those years spent inventing the internet....Al-Gore should have spent more time dealing with wifie....Perhaps it was "climate change" or simply "global cooling"....Perhaps ol' Al found warming climes down south?...We should hook Al up with Opra....now that'd be a pair....
