No, they don't now, why should they then? Are there gay only bathrooms at the gym or anywhere in society for that matter?

They should weigh the advantages and disadvantages. Then they should proceed experimentally. They should try one way. Collect baseline data. Then try another way. Collect baseline data. Compare and contrast. Then find a permanent solution.

It's a good idea IMHO. It might cut down on the tension but it also might create division amongst the team. It might feel like separate but equal.

If they are integrated amongst the heterosexual men. There might be some extra tension - sexual, phobic, and religious. I can just imagine the hardcore Christians "flanking" or setting up the homosexual man for trivial reasons.

This is very similar to what I was going to say. So, I can only send reps your way!

If no one has been raped or hit on, what's the problem?

Pretty much this. Gays aren't raging with hormones that'll jump on any sweet piece of meat that they see.

Tension and division? If that actually mattered, they would need like 50 different bathrooms. Jim Crow does not work in any arena including the military. "Gay Only" should not become the new "Colored Only".

Why should anything change if someone is free to be who they are? Ostrich syndrome never is about solutions. Besides, since when have bathrooms been assigned based on sexual orientation?

Those against repealing DADT are generally appealing to the ignorant group of homophobes who think gay people are always looking to sexually harass straight guys. There's really no other reason why it even matters.

Only Republican Senators from Idaho want to have sex in men's rooms.

Most others find the idea repulsive. I want to spend as little time as possible in public restrooms, let alone have sexy there. The idea of separate facilities is too ridiculous to spend time on.
