Lol, that's absurd, but in other words, those on the left are smarter than those on the right. You mean, you parse through statements, murmuring, "Radical left! Lie.... hmm, I like that, prob'ly true...."
Wouldnt it just be easier to do some homework on the topics at issue?
Did you read the story ? He would not have died that way if we weren't at war . People working in a weapons plant in soup kitchens or any way helping out were fighting . We were all in it together then.
If that's the way she chooses to remember her fathers death its fine with me. This is such a tiny little thing to pick at . Its politics , I'm sure you can find better.
Yep. Some people just can't or should I say won't get it!
Politicians and their lies are just par for the course. As this thread points out, the the partisans will defend the liar by spinning their words into what they think is the truth.
Politicians know a good percentage of their supporters will believe their idiotic statements...and their opponents won't believe or vote for them anyway.

Look, I already said she didn't commit a capital crime by lying. The post you are responding to is a fair and it's non-partisan.

I have and more times than not I've seen this to be the pattern.

Today's generation doesn't know what it was like. There was a unity in the country such as we may never again see. 9-11 brought us close to that, but it wasn't quite the same and not as long in duration. Everybody - as you say, we were all in it together, sacrificing everything and pouring their hearts into the effort. Everyone was fighting in that war. Some were doing it at home, others on the front.
