I love Martin County! There are some good A rated schools. Jensen Beach elementary in Jensen Beach is great my son went there-A rated for many years now Florida is not known for its schools although Martin County is one of the best school districts in the state. I would steer clear of Port.St.Lucie (just north of the stuart/Jensen beach area) it's a bit more crowded and the schools are not as good-I know many parents that would use Martin County addresses and drive their kids down from st.lucie county. There are some great websites such as greatschools.net-check them out. Jupiter and Palm Beach are nice-a bit pricey-not too familiar with the schools in that area but have heard there are some good ones. Moving is tough-I know-I would go back to martin county in a second if i could afford it. Port.St.Lucie would be your least expensive bet-not sure if that is a priority to you or not-good luck. If I can try to help you with any other questions let me know.

Your wife might want to check out Martin Memorial hospital in Stuart-great hospital-she was there for about 24 yrs.

oops-lol my mother was there for about 24 yrs-she just retired.

Hey check out Stuart, Hobe Sound, and Jupiter! That is where my family is headed after school lets out in June! We too have had enough of the weather! The schools in Stuart are supposed to be good and apartments or homes are not too expensive!
