Portland forum doesn't see much action because the homeless bums and street urchins don't use laptops.

Just wondering.

Not really. I grew up in the Bangor area, have lived in Aroostook County, Lewiston and now in S. Maine.

I will apologize to those Real Mainers from these communities, but the coastal region from Brunswick to Kittery has become overrun with condescending arrogant transplants. Greater Portland area is not Maine.

My wife and I both have roots in this state going back to the mid-1700s, and we can''t leave soon enough.

So if Southern Maine is so bad why don't you move back to the sticks? Why do you have to leave the state?? Back to your roots...the good earth....spud country.... where can you go besides North Dakota or Wyoming....Alaska?

Portland forum? What Portland forum? I chose the Maine forum and assumed that included the whole state. Dopy me.

Maybe if the Portland forum is merged with the North Boston forum it will pick up a few more readers. Those of us north of the Volvo line don't reed too good anyhow.
