I am researching places in the SW area near the culinary school i plan on attending. Can anyone tell me specific information about this area? The apartments that i have found look very nice but are at a reasonable price. Is this too good to be true?

There are many nice apartments on the SW side. This covers a large part of Portland. Can you narrow it down a bit? Neighborhood names? Are you attending the school in the Galleria?

Are you looking at places where you can walk to work? Or will you commute? Bus? Car? Also, please define "reasonable" rent. We need more to work with here. Can you send a link to some of the places you are looking at?
