Oregon has more fatal car accidents per 100,000 citizens than California or Washington.

Where do you find accident statistics for non-fatal as well as fatal. Actually the city I am mostly comparing Oregon with is Tucson, AZ. I drive around there and see ALL SORTS of accidents almost daily (not fatal). But can drive around Oregon and almost never see any accidents.

FYI - I did hear that most accidents are within 5 miles of your home - well I moved away from there! Maybe that is why I am not seeing any accidents in Oregon?

Then they would be counting the people who die from sliding on the ice and snow. Lots of people move in and don't know how to drive on ice and don't learn before it is too late. Not all traffic deaths occur in Portland (although I know you Portlanders can't seem to grasp the concept that there are other people who live in Oregon that might live differently than you do)
