Ive lived here for over 50 years we have hot summers we have rainy summers we chilly summers we have stormy summers we have cloudy summers.

We have cold winters we have warm winters we have freezing rain winters we have snow winters we have dry winters

we are 60 miles from the Pacific ocean

2 yrs back we were in a drought then we weren't---is been that way for ever.

Back in 85 i think it was we had many days in a row of 101 to 110 degrees

Back in 90 we had a winter with 30 plus freezing days and some days down to 15 below

I have seen it hotter than that in Portland.

The weather gods are making up for us mortals suffering through too many bad tomato growing years.

I never thought I would say this but I am starting to want Fall to come early. What has happened to me? Am I turning Oregonian?!. I feel like we are living in Vegas. I want more rain!

Haha, probably. When I first moved here I would have loved summers like this, it now that I am use to the weather here, anything over 85 is just too hot for me.
