Looks like it's ramping up....

Portland May Weather 2017 - AccuWeather Forecast for OR 97209

Wed is supposed to be 80 degrees. Thursday, 83. Then it's not dropping below 60 anymore. Got some 70's thrown in there next week.

I dunno about you, but I am NOT looking forward to the 80's. I think I'm going to make sure my A/C unit is working fine tonight. 80 DEGREES!!! That's too big of a jump. I'm kinda glad I have to work....a/c at work.

I know. I have a light puffy jacket that I'm still wearing. And it was 45 degrees when I took the dogs out.

Love the "bi-polar" bit. No offense to those that may have BPD.

I think spring 2010 had some weird heat waves in March and April and I remember some other odd hot days in springtime but I now take the attitude that any hot day before July 4 is a fun surprise but not an expectation. I am truly looking forward to a few hot days but not looking forward to pulling out the mobile air conditioner.

Crap--we didn't get our lawn mowed over the weekend. It's gonna be a foot long after those two warm days!

NO. I am not ready.
I'm a cool weather person.

I have absolutely loved our cool weather so far.

70 to 75 is just fine with me for a little while, as long as it's not raining/misting/humid.

I can wait until the magical day of July 5th.

Then it can get a hot as it wants for summer.

After then, back to normal.

2 years ago, my BF and I went on our first date. He said, "wasn't it 80 degrees when we went on our date?" and I said, "somewhere near that and it was 6pm. And today, it'll be a whopping 50 degrees". LOL. Not sure I'll agree with the "fun" part of the surprise, haha, but I totally understand. Most people I know are cranky so maybe this will help.
