So, I heard Portland has it all when it comes to good food! Exactly as the thread title states, I’m looking for recommendations for a good table-top grill buffet in Portland, with seafood. My kids want to see “octopus dance” , and I want them to love Portland and keep wanting to come back there. So help me out. I tried googling it and the results were not many and hard to judge.

P.s. Doesn’t have to be Portland Portland. Surrounding areas will work fine as well.

I don't know what that is. Are you talking about a Japanese grill where the chefs come around and cook at your table? Lots of those around here.

No. It’s when you get your stuff raw and cook it yourself on the grill at your table.

I don't see much point in going out to eat and still having to cook my own food. The whole point of going out to eat is so that I don't have to cook.

Try searching under Korean restaurants. That's a popular restaurant style in Korea.

Possibly, there are liability issues for having a blazing hot grill in the middle of each table and no one can get insurance to run a restaurant like that.

When Yen Ha (Vietnamese food) had a branch in Beaverton, they had a tabletop grill option. The branch is long gone and just read that the NE Sandy original closed last month. Maybe check out other Vietnamese restaurants.
