This shopping for a new countertop is driving me nuts.
I am not looking for very expensive countertops to be installed.

Can someone please recommend a company that they have used that the were happy with the price and the product? The house is just a old manufactured home so 6k granite top would be lipstick on a pig.

The big box stores sell preformed formica countertops. You can get a handyman to install one. It's not a difficult job.

I've used this company with good results (several years ago)
https://www.solidsolutionsinc.com/

Usually, I install formica and have them build me custom edges (Out of matching formica) Looks solid surface, but is not... it is cheap! (for cabinet tops) Probably a couple hundred $ total materials for a large kitchen. - DIY
