Hi! I know this is a long shot, but I had my phone stolen by a girl from La Cantina (a bar) in Forest Grove two weeks ago. I know it was stolen because she answered when my friend called and sent a text to a friend saying she would not be giving it back.

If anyone has been sold a phone, or seen it (I know, unlikely), I would obviously really like it back.

Anyway as I said I know it's a long shot but I've done everything else.

It's a Samsung t819, the number was 323 404 3755. Provider: T-mobile.

Email me: caityjane@hotmail.com. I would really appreciate any leads at all....I will buy you a Dutch or something if it turns up!

I presume you have notified T-Mobile. I would also report the theft to the police in Forest Grove as they may know her.

+1 to reporting to police. You should be able to log into your T-Mobile online account or call them to get the phone's IMEI # and report it to police. My wife had her phone stolen from her desk at work a while back by one of the janitorial staff. It turned out that the guy was doing a lot of this kind of stuff and finally the police nabbed him at his house and confiscated a huge number of gadgets that he had pocketed. She had completely given up on the phone when one day, she got a call out of the blue from the Hillsboro PD asking her to come by and pick up her phone!!! It can't hurt!!

is it a GPS enabled device? Contact T-mobile and tell them it has been stolen and ask them how to proceed.

Thanks for your responses. I notified T-mobile and they suspended my account, though to have it canceled they want me to pay $200. They said that there is nothing they can (or will) do to help find my phone, even if I give them the IMEI number, etc. I reported it to the FGPD, but they said that unless I have a hunch who took it they can't really do anything.
Anyway, when my friend called my phone that night, the girl who answered said she was in Jack in the Box. The call took place at 1.30am. Today I went and spoke to the manager who gave me a CD copy of the security tapes. Two cars drive through from 1.20am to 1.40am. I can make out what color hair and what tops the drivers (both female) are wearing, but I don't really know what to do from here. My roommate took a group picture that night so I'll have a look at it later to see if anyone matches the description.
The party was all Pacific seniors...so I must know whoever took it...so frustrating!

You shouldn't have to suspend your account, arrange for a new phone and they can disconnect the phone from their system.
