I don't know about anyone else but mostly I take pictures on sunny days so my camera doesn't get wet!

I do have some gloomy season pictures. No blue sky in any of these. No clue how to put them all in one post. I tried using HTML instead of the image icon and making them smaller but it did not work. White or gray skies are very common in winter, spring and fall here.

This is a shot of mares and foals at Oakhurst Thoroughbreds in Newberg. Taken in October.

This is a corner of my yard and looking down the street. I really took it to show the Knockout roses still blooming in November. It is a bright gray day rather than a gloomy gray day. We have both.

This was taken on Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada but the weather is typical for Portland. I just don't get out in the wet to take pictures when I'm home.....

Schreiner's Iris Garden during their open house in May. The flowers look great under white cloudy skies. Less glare for photographs.

Lately I've been interested in trying wide angle photography in addition to forest photography.

So what better thing to do on a gloomy day that go down to Columbia Blvd. in Portland.

With my new Tokina 12-24mm
