In summer I forget about the rain. Now I'm depressed. Thanks a lot.

I actually remember reading this thread before I decided to move to Portland. I helped me decide that I wanted to live in Portland, even with all its bad points the OP posted. Very lucid.

This post, despite someone bringing back an old thread, solidified my plan to move to Portland. Twenty-seven more days!

Default You are also snide.

Not so much. I did see the date, just felt like replying. So sorry to have upset you.

Which is too bad, b/c I would thank the OP for giving her perspective on Portland. Some people need sunlight, and she was truthful about the weather situation there, while balancing and being fair with both the pros and cons of the city.

Too bad more posters aren't like her.

Too bad so many posters are like you.

Not that you will read this. You joined, made one post, and went to troll elsewhere.

So.....GOODBYE!!!!

As a newbie to the Portland question, the OP was of interest to me. We took our daughter up this w/end to U of Portland and just loved the place. She was our last anchor to Ashland (outside of Medford) and we are considering a relocation. Portland is high on our list. Great little city, lots to do, interesting people and... Drum roll please... Powell's Book Store!
