I agree with rkb - if the HPT is positive you need to get in right away to make sure it is not ectopic (IUD increases the chances of that).
I know someone who have had to have the IUD removed at the time of the c-section.
I am sure individual experience varies and will have to be something you and the dr discuss and monitor if the IUD remains in place during the pregnancy.
