Anxiety During Pregnancy (weeks, months, women, period)

Has anyone else had bouts of high anxiety periods during your pregnancy? I have just recently started going through periods where I just cannot settle down - I am 8 months along with my first and I think the closeness of labor and getting prepared for baby are starting to hit me - its overwhelming.

I am not going to take medication but I'd hardly think being so tense and stressed all the time is good for myself or my baby.

What did you do to cope and relax?

Hello everybody,
I also have the similar problem. I have been fine most of my pregnancy up until a couple of weeks ago. I have serious anxiety almost every day to the point where I am not able travel in the car for a long period of time or do anything out of the ordinary. The anxiety began at about 30 weeks, I am now almost 35 weeks and have an appointment with my doctor because he wants to put me on something for the anxiety. I have searched online for some articles and I have seen that many women experience similar problems.
Has anyone else had this or is on drugs for anxiety?
