My first miscarriage (somewhere along 9-12 weeks I can't remember now ) I never felt any pregnancy symptoms. I was never sick, never had weird smell issues nothing.. Honestly felt like I wasn't pregnant.

Now my second pregnacy.. Hyperemsis, Gestational Diabetes, Low Amniotic Fluid, High blood pressure, and pelvic hip hairline fractures, and 3 week early delivery.. Felt that pregnancy. and I felt like and still do 4 years later pregnancy was the worst experience of my life. Love my kid to the moon and back but the hubby got the big V cause the thought of even possibly being pregnant sent me into severe panic. I can't tell u how many plan B's I took over the years even while using condoms just because I was paranoid there might have been a tear. It started to effect our sex life, I just felt like I couldn't even risk having sex for fear of possibly getting pregnant!

I felt like I wasn't pregnant too. I had a blood test and a home test and they were both telling me I was, but my body was saying "not so fast...". My miscarriage turned out to be a blighted ovum, and I needed a D&C since my body was not naturally ridding itself of it for whatever reason.

I had an early miscarriage later ruled ectopic but I was positive I was pregnant before getting a positive test. This time around I didn't "feel" like this was it. I was shocked when I got a very obvious positive. Since then I've had a lot more symptoms crop up like exhaustion and sore breasts (that tend to wax and wane). I feel a bit more at ease with this one. So I'm hoping that is a good sign. Ultrasound tomorrow!

I already did. At 11 weeks they did a blood test called MaterniT21. Its fairly new and is done for mothers over 35 ( im 36 ). By doing this test, they are checking for Downs Syndrome, but they are also able to see the sex of the baby by the X and Y chromosomes.

It's a girl by the way.
