Hehe. My daughter was born in 2006.

Thing is, what happened in 2005 (*cough* Katrina *cough*) that led to lots of time to spare? Not in my case, but still!

America likes children SO much that there are 500,000 children in foster care. Who cares if there are children who needs home when you can pop out a few of your own, eh?

My son and his wife are expecting twins in March, they are 36, we are so happy!!!!! My 1st daughter has 3 children, 1 of her children has 2 children herself which means we have 2 great grandchildren. And my 2nd oldest daugther has 4 children also, they're all trying to have children. Hopefully they'll have 'em soon!! We can't wait till the day that our twin grandchildren are born and our 4 grandkids that are trying to have to have kids. This family is multiplying and multiplying!!

I know. This is what drives me batty about IVF and other fertility treatments. There are SOOOO many kids that need loving parents but too many people have to have bio kids at whatever cost. Maybe not being able to birth ones own children is natures way of keeping the population under control and making sure there are parents for the unwanted kids. Sounds simplistic I know and not having baby rabies myself, maybe I don't understand. BUT, someone has to take care of these kids when their birth parents can't or won't.

I have a little girl born in 2006.

I think that whatever way a family decides to have a baby is perfectly OK as long as they love, care and nurture said child. Adoption, fertility, surrogotes, whatever it takes.....fine by me. Just take care of your children and don't add to the sad number of children who don't have loved ones.

Yeah, I agree!

My favorite line to use, when asked why I have so many kids (5, not 'so many' IMO)is-'to pay YOUR social security!'
