I saw in another thread some utility statistics for Prescott Valley for 2006 and 2007. Can anyone give me an update on utility costs for an approx 2000 - 2100 sq ft home. Heat, water heater and range would be nat gas, electricity and water for 2 residents and a 10,000 sq ft mostly rock yard. I know there are other variables but just want ly estimate if someone can provide.

Thanks a lot for any help.

I've got a 2000 sq ft home in Prescott with 2 residents up around 5500 ft where it's cooler than PV.

I use gas for heat and hot water only. My heating is radiant heat floors with a tankless water heater. I use a 2nd tankless water heater for hot water. My highest gas bill last winter was $80, with a couple months around $50, a couple months around $30-35, and the $14 minimum fee the rest of the year.

My electric bill is a constant $60-65 every month. I don't have A/C but do have a satellite receiver, electric range, and a bunch of computers.

My water comes from the City of Prescott and will be too different from PV for any kind of comparison.

I doubt they're much different. Utility costs have not changed dramatically. Electric: $60-$140 depending on season. Gas $40-$140 depending on season. Water/Sewer $40-$50.
