4th FG was a drive starting at the MN46 (favre fumble)

5th FG started at the MN 19 (86 yard kick return)

So basically, 4 of those 5 FG's were courtesy of special teams and Favre and 1 of the 2 touchdowns were the same way.

Basically, the MN defense gave up about 10-13pts. and the MN offense and special teams gave up the rest. Really can't fault their defense.
You make a valid counter point.

Favre was just shown on TV being interviewed ( in street clothes).

A reporter asked about the allegations and he said----" I'm not going to discus that. If you want to talk about the touchdown pass to Randy Moss, fine. Want to talk about the touchdownpass to Percy Harvin? "

The reporter should have said-----no, lets talk about your fumbles and your interceptions.

"Teflon" Favre ............no blame sticks to him after a loss !

I cant believe people give this womanizing primadonna so much attention. He has always been overrated, and has no class. He should watch John Elways or Montanas retirement on how to go out with dignity and grace, instead of holding teams captive. Even more pathetic are the fans in Green Bay. They enabled this behavior, an example being GROWN MEN THAT CRIED WHEN BRETT FAVRE WAS TRADED.. Pathetic...

Maybe now the ViQueens will realize they signed a whiner.

Gotta give props to the Greenbay management for making the unpopular but right decision in moving on from Favre.

The Jets let him keep playing hurt....and missed the playoffs as a result....and the Vikings are too scared to bench him....and this is WITHOUT him having won a superbowl and being with the team forever.

Favre should retire now. No chance at the playoffs.

I just have to put the finger of blame on Favre for the Vikings having scored only 63 points in 4 games so far, the worst in the league except for Carolina's 52 points in 5 games.

The Viking defense isn't the problem, they've only allowed 67 points in 4 games which is on par with the Jets, Ravens, Steelers, Chiefs, Bears, Falcons, Buccaneers and Seahawks, all of which have better W-L records.

The poor showing by Minnesota is due to a lack of offensive success and much of that has to be the quarterback.

Here's Michael Wilbon's take of The State of the Favre.

LOL....when I read this I thought that "Teflon" might explain why he has a hard time holding onto the ball.

#28 out of 30 passer rating.

2010 NFL Player Passing Stats - National Football League - ESPN

Let's be fair, a player doesn't suddenly get THAT much worse in 4 months...he is clearly rusty and probably somewhat injured too. With that said, why the heck do you play him?

Honestly, if neither of the back-ups is capable of coming in and putting up at least mediocre numbers you should CUT THEM anyway.
