I've read a few stories about the owner trying to get a deal to get a new stadium and it will be in DC.

I have not heard about this at all. Do tell....

I always thought it would have been awesome if instead of building Fed Ex Field, they had renevated and added to RFK like the Bears did to Soldier Field a few years ago.... I LOVED watching the 'Skins at RFK growing up!

Why on earth would they build another new stadium? Fed Ex Field is new (relatively speaking)!

New Stadium In The Works For Redskins? | Bleacher Report

I found this from 2 years ago. You'd have to question the limited foresight on the part of Snyder - why not have just built it the way you wanted it in the late 1990s? What a waste of money.

Looked at Fed Ex Field on Wikipedia, it opened for business for the 1997 NFL season.

Snyder was not the owner when Fed Ex Field was built in 96-97. He bought the Redskins in 1999 and inherited Fed Ex Field....

Fed Ex is fairly new, being finished in the late 90's and it is huge. Why would they want another stadium
