Rodgers has looked impressive and Packer D has been better than I thought. With the irony of another Packer Super Bowl the year Favre retires as a Viking may be in the cards.
With that said I'm still convinced the Steeler victory over Seattle was a fix. Steelers get more calls than any other team. I pick Steelers by 3.
I hate corrupt officiating and that was as corrupt as it gets. In fact, I pretty well quit watching the Super Bowl after that nonsense.
I also seemed to notice that teams that were trying to get a new stadium built, had ways of winning big. Until the new stadium got approved.......
Has similarities to wrestling at times.
Sports was much better in the 80's. The money got too big.
this one's for Ted Thompson
this one's for Mike McCarthy
this one's for Aaron Rodgers
because of all the crap they had to put up with over the last 4 years
it's KARMA baby!!!!
if any collection of individuals and organisation deserves this -- it's them.
Go Pack Go!
With all the crap they had to put up with???
How about all the BS calls and fines against the Steelers this year? I like GB. They are a respectable organization but this will be #7 for Pitt, sorry.
Both the Packers and Steelers have very good defenses that are based off the same 3-4 zone blitz scheme. What this game is going to come down to is which offense can make the critical plays against the other team's defense. I think the Packers are much more likely to find those plays against the Steelers defense than the Steelers could against the Packer's defense.
I'm going with the Packers, 24-17.
