On "Mike & Mike" this morning, "Greenie" thought that Brett Farve should do the the classy thing and put a full page ad in the Green Bay newspaper congratulating Aaron Rogers.
Mike Golic thinks there is still a lot of animosity between Farve and the Packers organization.
I agree with "Greenie". Especially since Farve had some questionable things come up last year with the Jet's incident. There are a lot of fans in GB who still love Farve and this would go a long way for them.
Steve Young said it took a long time for him and Joe Montana to move on from the friction they had.
These are all grown men and should show examples to the younger players on how to act.
No thinking required, the Packers did win the SuperBowl. If Farve played for the Packers, why would he have to congratulate Aaron Rogers?
If Favre played for the Packers, they would not have won the Super Bowl, so it is a moot point.
Favre plays for the Vikings, so who cares if he should congratulate Aaron Rodgers? It makes for good talk radio and message board babble I suppose, but really, why would anyone care? This is Aaron Rodgers' moment, not Favre's.

Totally aside from the fact that his name is spelled 'Favre'...
Why single Brett Favre out? Why not someone from Vince Lombardi's family, or Bart Starr? Favre isn't a Packer any more; he isn't under any obligation to show loyalty to the franchise, whether or not someone thinks it's a 'classy' thing to do.
Favre deserves no more attention! NO!! We DO NOT WANT TO HEAR FROM HIM!
This Rodgers time in the sun!! Period!
Amen, I am soooo happy for Aaron Rodgers. I'm a lifelong packer fan and was disgusted at the treatment he faced by the fa*&!-ites, he's done more, on the biggest stage, than he-who-shall-not-be-mentioned ever did by winning the SB MVP. Only other Packer QB to do that was Bart Starr, and he did it twice.
in fact , with a minimum 150 postseson attempts, Aaron just passed a former QB from Green Bay's long-standing postseason record for all-time post season QB rating. AR has a 112 rating breaking the former record of 105, you may have heard of the QB whose record Rodgers just broke: his name is Bart Starr.
I quit a sales job a few years back, I held many records at that job. A sales person who competed with me while I worked there stepped it up and broke all my records... I have no desire to call that jerk up and congradulate him, and If I did, I think he would think it very akward. Favre does not own Rogers anything.
