I'm ok with your answer. I haven't voted in the poll so I've no idea what the result is. On polls like these I'll get an occasional dm from someone asking me to drop a reminder for people to stay on topic. As it is their thread, I feel their request is a valid one. I didn't mean to single you out though as my answer actually applies to people who will apply crackpot answers.

Welker is a chains mover, slot receiver type. He can make big plays but his primary job is to move the chains and he is the best in the league at that.

Exactly. You cannot compare the two because they play completely different roles within their respective offense. It would be like comparing a Jeep to a Corvette.

This poll is a joke. How can you compare Welker to Calvin. Put it this way, if the Pats had Calvin, they'll probably win every game this season...Welker is okay in the Pats system thats it.
