Wasnt it his second year he made the Cardinals a force to be reckoned with?
Give him a quarterback and a decent offense and lets see what happens then.
He had an old but effective Kurt Warner at QB during their Super Bowl year. When Kurt retired, that is when the problems started. I would put the QB problems on the GM.

They should sign Alex Smith after the 9ers cut bait with him after this season. If they can find a franchise QB (if they sign Smith), come back and talk about Wisenhunt next year.

That would be a good pickup for them

Don't fire the coach. Alex Smith would be a good choice. Even Colt McCoy would be better than what they have.

I think he will be fired if he doesn't find a way to end this losing streak they are on

Wasnt one of the reasons Smith struggled so in San Fran was because of frequent changes in the offense? And now throw him into another one????????????

But he would be a upgrade over what's in Arizona now.

Well based on last year, he would be a upgrade over Kolb and Skelton

But he struggles when he gets faced with a new offensive play book. It would take a couple of years for him to get on track again. By then, Whisenhunt will be fired. At which point in time,
Smith gets another new play book.
