I'd like to be a fly on the wall in the Philly locker room during halftime. Chip's gonna go ape **** on them.
Lol... yeah on his coaches I would think. Heavy third quarter pressure on them to make an impressive third quarter comeback. They have the ability that's sure. The fumble issues are just flukes hopefully, but there's the prob right there.
The Browns (ever since their return in 1999) have a history of destroying QBs. I support them starting Hoyer, and not rushing Manziel into action before he is ready. Prior to Hoyer's injury he provided a spark in the team that was lacking. I want to see him get an opportunity to come back and build on that short stint.
Boyer and Rothlesburger are tied in completions/attempts... and the game is also tied with a few minutes left Must be a good game to watch.

It was. The Browns schooled the Steelers in the 2nd half, but they passed on a 54 yard FG near the end of the game and played field position. The two teams traded punts after that, with the Steelers able to reach FG range and kick the game winner as time expired. Heck of a game. Even though I picked the Steelers I was pulling for the Browns through that second half.

Yeah almost happpened. Thanks for the game call there.
I am in great shape now that the early slate has concluded. I'm sittin' strong at 5-6. I am very happy to have missed on the Chiefs and Patriots games, and would have enjoyed seeing the Browns pull off the upset against the Steelers. Hopefully I can salvage week 1 with the late games.
No excuses, guys. This is NFL picks! Selling a house or traveling the world is no excuse for missing out.
Okay, here are my picks for week 1:
Packers @ Seahawks: Seahawks
Saints @ Falcons: Saints
Vikings @ Rams: Rams
Browns @ Steelers: Steelers
Jaguars @ Eagles: Eagles
Raiders @ Jets: Jets
Bengals @ Ravens: Ravens
Bills @ Bears: Bears
Redskins @ Texans: Texans
Titans @ Chiefs: Chiefs
Patriots @ Dolphins: Patriots
Panthers @ Buccaneers: Panthers
49ers @ Cowboys: 49ers
Colts @ Broncos: Broncos
Giants @ Lions: Lions
Chargers @ Cardinals: Chargers
Week 1 is always a crap shoot for me. I can be as good as 13-3 or as bad as 6-10 and neither outcome would surprise me. Looking forward to your picks!
I just noticed I said Chargers on this thread, but I had the Cards on my "AFC West" thread:

In the second year of McCoy's tenure I expect their offense to take a major step forward over last year, with Rivers emerging as a premier QB again. Their defense needs some work. I do not take a lot from the preseason, but the way Chargers defenders struggled with fundamentals like tackling there is good reason to question this unit until they prove the doubters wrong.
The Cardinals were solid on both sides of the ball last year, and I expect their offense to make strides forward this year in the second year of Arians tenure, much like the Chargers. This offense does not appear to be as potent as the Chargers, but it may not matter against the Chargers defense. The Cardinals defense was one of the better in the league last year, but will be without some of its playmakers from that season due to FA departures as well as injuries.
I'm not sure which of these teams is the better team, really. I expect the Chargers to make the playoffs again, and the Cards are a likely candidate as well. I am inclined to give the home team the benefit on the doubt in this one. Cardinals 27, Chargers 24.
My official pick is the Cardinals in this game. I'm glad I caught that before the game started.
