CBS Games blocked from being flexed on Sunday Night

Week 12-Miami at Denver

Week 13-New England at Green Bay

Week 14-Pittsburgh at Cincinnati

Week 15-Denver at San Diego

Week 16-Indianapolis at Dallas

FOX Games blocked from flexed on Sunday Night

Week 11-Philadelphia at Green Bay

Week 13-New Orleans at Pittsburgh

Week 14-Seattle at Philadelphia

Week 15-San Francisco at Seattle

So does that mean as a Philadelphia resident I won't see the Packers/Eagles game in two weeks? Okay with me!

No. When they block if from being flexed, that means it can't be flexed off of TV or to a different time. Which means it will air no matter what.

Why the hell did they block Detroit vs. Chicago in week 16?? Do they want to see Marshall go 12 rounds with Cutler??

Yeah that's the only game on that list which will probably have no playoff implications

I know. They blocked it from flexing to the Sunday night game. I think however, that they moved it to 4:25 EST because they know it's going to get a lot of viewership.

Why? It's Ben Roethlisberger versus Drew Brees. When you have a pair of top-tier QBs facing off, it's bound to generate some interest. Furthermore, the Steelers have won twice as many games as they've lost this season, and the Saints are back to .500 after a slow start. This game could become a shootout.

Two other more minor factors are that these QBs only get to face each other every four years, and FOX doesn't get to show many Steelers games despite them being a ratings bonanza.
