The Eagles played terrific last night- the offense clicked on all cylinders. Pederson had a great game plan- play aggressive, and keep scoring. It takes all 60 minutes to beat Brady- something my Falcons do not understand.
I'm an Eagles fan, but we got away with a couple of things.
1- Clemente catch probably should not have been a catch.
2- Hail mary play... Hogan got wiped out of the play about 15 yards down the field and never got back over to where the ball landed. Should have been illegal contact.
Pats have gotten away with stuff in the past, so I ain't complaining... but just being honest with it.
Also we played the Steelers and beat them - what's the point -
On a controversial call. What jersey number are YOU? I DVRD the game. I'll rewatch it and look for you.
What's your teammate Brady's reason for not shaking Files hand after. You know if NE had won and Foles did that, all the Chowderheads would crying foul. Or is it chowda? Sorry Bahston fair is fair
They may have won this time... enjoy the one in a half century win. But overall they are still a sucky team. I'm a Giants fan but HATE the Eagles just because of the ahole vicks. I will always go for whoever they are playing against because of that. Cant wait to see the news on their celebrations on the news...
An Underdog's Single VICTORY will always be sweeter and greater relished than yet another Dynastic victory.
I'm definitely ready for the end of instant replay. I can tell you that had any other referee been in that game besides Steratore, the Eagles would have come away with two less TDs. Steratore is the one ref who is reluctant to overturn things without blatant evidence.
The replays just make things more vague, not less.
If you are talking about the catches, that's really a matter of the rule being more confusing than anything else.
Last post on this thread, as its back to being the train wreck it was before game day, I will just point out that the offivciating was great. We're always dumping on the officials, so I'll give credit where it's due. They let the players decide the game and were thorough in the review of the Ertz TD as to why the play was upheld. See ya in September.
i feel that the NFL should just make crossing the endzone is a touchdown. this stuff about establishing as a runner is over doing it. if you break the plane, you should be awarded a touchdown period. such nonsense.
for me , belicheck is the greatest coach. his system is too good. matt cassel can thank belichick for being set for life with all the $$ he made. i can imagine if andrew luck(get healthy first) ever gets to play for bill once tom retires, he will have some rings for sure.

NE had no running game to speak of and stayed in the game.
My hat is off to the small receivers of the Pats. Those little guys seem impossible to contain.

Agreed, and if they're in the end zone when they catch it with both feet in, as soon as they have established possession it's a touchdown no matter what happens after that. If they have possession then they fall and it pops out it's still a touchdown because the ball is already over the plane.
