Does this surprise anybody with a modicum of football knowledge?
This reinforced the fact that Kaepernick did not want to be back in the NFL, nor is he even good enough. This was just a ploy to keep him viewed as the victim and martyr to continue his role as an ACTIVIST, and AGITATOR. That's all.
Cleveland Browns are trying out Jordan Veasy, who was one of the wide receivers who caught passes from Colin Kaepernick during his private tryout.
NOBODY is going to touch that nut.
He could have held a workout with 8-12 teams showing up and then he changed it all up.
Only a couple teams ended up going there. After he went on his rant about "the NFL waking up" the recruiters that did show up -- jumped on a plane and said "SEEYA!"
I happy that a good athlete may get a spot. There's a shortage of good WRs because of all the injuries.
Sometimes people just can't help themselves... I don't like liars, Kaep hiding behind social justice because he didn't have a good reason for disrespecting the flag...
Kaepernick has been washed up for years, I think that's why he did the knee thing. To get attention and draw attention away that he can't hack it in the NFL.
NFL Football is an entertainment industry, just as Major League Baseball, professional basketball etc. is. They put on their games, hoping to attract a large audience (at stadiums, on TV, etc.). who will pay good money for tickets, cable TV fees and all the rest.
Kaepernick deliberately and knowingly pulled stunts that greatly diminished the attendance and viewership, not only of his own team, but many other teams across the country. All to publicize his ridiculous, petty "cause", which most people knew was greatly exaggerated and not at all football-related. And he didn't stop even when all this was pointed out to him.
He seems to have an greatly overinflated opinion of his worth to the NFL. If Tom Brady or Drew Brees or (insert your favorite player here) had done what he did, they'd be out on their arses too, and not temporarily.
Kaepernick's delusions seem to persist, even driving him to some kind of staged "workout" so NFL teams could admire him.
We all saw the result... or lack thereof.
Colin, take the hint.
