I think Rodgers is the reason Wilson will be under center tomorrow and allegedly Wilson's problems last year were more mental than physical. Hopefully, maturing with the passage of time as well as the tutelage of Rodgers will have changed that and the Jets will be 2-0 tomorrow night.

Can't see that happening unless they make a trade, but I don't know if Carson Wentz or Kirk Cousins can take them there.
The 4 biggest obstacles are probably the Chiefs, Bills, Dolphins and Bengals. All 4 of those teams have vastly superior QBs.
And the only one the Jets have yet played is 0-1 against the Jets. Surely the scouts saw something in Wilson worthy of a second overall pick last year, I'm not willing to write him or the team off just yet.
Let's see how the replacement QB works for a couple of weeks, then we'll have a good idea how bad this is for the Jets.

Could be we have an answer as to how well the backup QB will do.
Dallas had a time of possession of 42 minutes, the Jets just 18 minutes. Jets offense never got much of a chance, but in the 4th Qtr QB Wilson threw three interceptions.
On the bright side, the Jets defense stopped Dallas several times in the red zone, forcing the Cowbosy to settle for field goals on five drives. But the Jets' defense was on the field so much that Dak Prescott wore them down with short passes to neutralize the Jets’ talented defensive backs.
Jets defense held Dallas to six points each in the 3rd and 4th quarters. I'd say that's a success when playing the Cowboys.
So it goes.

First of all, the Jets were going to be mediocre with Aaron playing because he was running for his life in all 4 plays. They must fix that O-line. Wilson runs well so he can avoid that rush, but his play is bad. 7 or 8 wins at best

With Wilson you'll see pretty much the same Jets you saw in 2022. Let's face it, not a lot changed with them from last year. Wilson looked serviceable to me if he'll cut out the interceptions. He faced a helluva defense on Sunday that was very good in 2022 and has only gotten better. Can't judge him only on that game Sunday and for context why forget about his comeback win against the Bison? Jets would have been better with a better called game on Sunday so that's on the OC.
