The Panthers played very well today against one of the best teams in the NFL. There are a lot of positives that you could take away from this game rather than concentrating on the negatives.
BS... there are no moral victories this year. There are 16 games to win or lose. The panthers lost. I watched two even teams play til the end> One team fumbled when all they had to do was fall forward with the ball to convert the 3rd down and run out the clock. The complicate things, a DB that is not an NFL calibur player made a terrible play and allowed ATL to complete a hail mary to get in FG range.
He just earned a look up for his horrible play... He's a SS and his name is Haruki Nakamura, he came over from Baltimore. Played college ball at Cincinnati. There is no way he's starting next week, mark my word!
You are correct. He was getting burned all day. How in the hell do you allow White to get behind you on a 60 yard pass play? Moreoever, the defense on that last series was horrible. They did not protect the sidelines and force Ryan to pass to the middle of the field. If I were Rivera, I would be still be ripping the DC for that debacle.
Mr. Newton, rather than continue the narcissistic displays when you get a touch down, perhaps you should consider waiting to win the game before celebrating. Hold onto the ball, then you have the game won. Just a thought.
What's the problem?
#1 They players are over paid bunch of babbies
#2 They lack the drive to fight to win
#3 Management lacks in leadership and team building skills

No one takes you seriously because we already know you have a bias against NFL players even though I told you that very few stay in the league many years and are multi-millionaires...
If you want to keep vomiting out "blanket bullet points", go ahead. This thread should be for people who actually watch the game and know something about it.
Almost every coach in this league punts there. I think Rivera is a bum, but he made the right call there. The fault lies in the corner and the safety, they both were beat on an under thrown ball. Cam's fumble didn't help matters either.
I have to agree with this. I know you are on the road against a hot team, however if your special teams execute on the punt (which they did by pinning them back at the 2) it should be game over.
I''m sorry, but if you asked ANY panther fan, would you sign up for a lead and pinning the Falcons back at their own 2 with NO TIMEOUTS and 70 seconds, you would've signed up for it in a heartbeat.
There will be alot of monday morning quarterbacking about this one...very very tough loss....
