I think it took Bill Cowher 14 years to win his superbowl with the steelers so it can still happen with Reid. Obviously not this year but maybe, MAYBE next year(which i highly doubt). If the Eagles want a legitimate long term chance at Superbowl victories, many things need to change and i don't think that will happen with Reid at the helm, but i am not the owner so i don't make the decisions

It'll never happen with Reid. His decision-making process is not conducive to winning in the long term.

Reid needs to be fired.....he's getting stale, and he has made too many boneheaded personnel moves that hurt the team.....Castillo as d-coordinator, 6 year $100 million contract to Vick...etc etc etc....horrible drafting....If Reid is still around, the good draft pick they'll get in the next draft will probably be squandered on some undersized linebacker that otherwise would have been drafted in the 6th round.

I honestly think, since this season is down the tubes, they should start Kafka from here on out, see if he has what it takes to be a good NFL starter or if he's nothing more than a career backup. Then they'll know if they need to draft a QB. Vick is not getting any younger and is proving to be a bust, he's the same ol same ol from his Atlanta days. Godd for a highlight reel play here and there, will have an outstanding game occasionally, but overall underperforms, makes bad decisions, and is not a winner.

Reid needs to be fired whether its to be replaced by a nobody or a somebody. But there are plenty of somebodys available....Gruden or Cowher would be nice. I'd love it if they could lure Jimmy Johnson out of retirement (the added bonus would be winning a Super Bowl under Johnson would be a kick in the groin to Cowgirls fans). Plus, it appears Jimmy could use the money, judging by the commercials he's been doing: Jimmy Johnson Extenze Commercial - Extenze Male Enhancement - YouTube

From a Cowboys fan perspective, Go ahead and FIRE ANDY REID. He has been nothing but a thorn in the Cowboys side since he got the job in philly!

I get the no Championships theory and its frustrating to get close year after year only to fall short but I think if the Eagles give this current TEAM another year to gell, it would probably be worth it.

Under more normal circumstances, I might agree, but this coaching regime has shown too much incompetence to convince me that they'll ever win anything.

ESPN signed Gruden to a 5 year extension so he is not available

I'm sure with ex-coaches who are boradcasters, espeically someone like Gruden, there are clauses in the contracts that they can leave if they're offered a coaching position.
