I was just going to post the link to the flex story, maybe the NFC North is a little more interesting than thought, oh, wait, the Eagles are more interesting!!!

Are some fans a little touchy or what? I came here because we are talking playoffs, just getting there, not saying who is going to win it all! Packers can help the Eagles, I'm not so sure they can help themselves! We'll see!

Wow - Bears/Eagles flexed out Pats/Ravens??

Are they expecting snow in two weeks?

I LOVE 1 o'clock games. That was the best part of going 4-12. Now next year there will probably far too many night and 4:25 games. Darn it.

Come to south Texas - we get plenty of early games now. I would rather a team that is relevant.

The flex was made to enable CBS to have a good 4:25 PM ET game but not hurt NBC.

That makes sense.

Steelers/Packers looked a lot better at the beginning of the season for the late game on that week... not so much now.

Another possible factor... larger TV markets with Chicago, Philly.

It makes a lot of sense as those cities are the 3rd and 4th largest sports markets. Both are much bigger cities than Green Bay and Pittsburgh.

Clarification...

Pats/Ravens was the original SNF game.

Chip commented that the flex was to give CBS a decent 4:25 afternoon game - which is when I remarked about Pitt/GB - which takes place also at 4:25, which was probably the original main doubleheader game for CBS.

Hopefully that makes sense. It's late. Good night.
