Packers look awful on both sides of the ball tonight. Can't tackle on D and can't do anything with any consistency on offense. I know the Seahawks are good but they're making Green Bay look silly.

They played like sh*t tonight. Very embarrassing. I was hoping they'd make Seattle their *****, but no such luck.

Eh, it's week 1, so it doesn't matter a whole lot. Plus they played the defending champs on their turf. It's a marathon, not a sprint & Packers always start the season slow & pick it up around week 7. In fact, looking back at the last few years (excluding 2011) it usually took until weeks 5-7 until the Packers were above .500.

On to the Jets!

That's true! Ah, I probably won't be able to see many games this season since I'm still in Pennsylvania. Mom asked me about that last night and I said it depended on when the Eagles played and what team the Packers play for it to be aired. I look forward to reading things on here, though!

I just saw the score... eeek! But, it's only week 1.

Actually the score in the 2012 Fail Mary game was 14-12 in favor of the Seahawks.

I think Everwinter knows that! I'm still digesting last night and if Bulaga is out for the season, and Barclay being out, too, they need to re-think that O-line before the Jets come to town!!!

I have a pretty good idea, at least as far as a fan like myself can understand the game.

It is a hard loss because they shot themselves in the foot throughout the night. Bad tackling and questionable play calling aside, the Packers blew 3 turnover opportunities, gave them second chances from penalties twice (1 3rd down, 1 4th down) that led to 10 points, and handed them 5 points from sloppy offensive play that was off script (i.e. not running between the tackles and quick passes). That is 15 points and 149 yards against right there. With the turnovers, there is no saying what they might have done, but the Packers would have got the ball near the 50, at Seattle’s 39, and around their 30.
