Shanahan was fired today. Bronco's had a 3 game lead with 3 games left, choked, then totally collapsed in Sunday's pitiful where-is-the-defense, 52-21 loss. He's only had one playoff game since Elway left. Can't fire the team so he's out. Someone call Extreme Makeover - Defense Edition. Third year in a row that Denver collapsed late in the season and missed the playoffs. The D gave up 448 points this year, only 2 teams were worse. Here's now it looks:
