Brown named the team the Bengals in order "to give it a link with past professional football in Cincinnati." [1] Another Bengals team existed in the city and played in a three previous American Football Leagues[2] from 1937 to 1942. The city's renowned zoo was also home to a rare white Bengal Tiger.

Yeah, I've looked that up before. It still makes no sense to me for a team name.
The Pittsburgh Zoo had a camel. We don't name our team the Pittsburgh Dromedaries, do we? No, because it has no relevance to the city's geography or history.

Are there Bears in Chicago?
Are there Lions in Detroit?
Are there Colts in Indianapolis?
Are there Cardinals in Arizona?
Are there Jaguars in Jacksonville?
Are there Panthers in Carolina?
Are there Titans in Tennessee?
Are there Rams in St. Louis?

To be honest, we have many good friends from Ohio and watch quite a few of the Bengals / Browns games. I don't really mind either team (and not just because they have losing records).
Packers? Their uniforms are classics. What would you change?
Ron Wolf almost changed them in 1993 to a true gold color with no stripes on the sleeves or pants or socks.
I say leave them exactly as they are!

You are wise.
As for what teams should change:
Seahawks (go back to old color scheme, or a new one)
Carolina Panthers (they should change the font used for "Carolina Panthers", it is too 90's/"extreeeeme!")
