Starting on 9/13/09, there will be a new channel produced by the NFL Network called "NFL REDZONE" and this channel will allow fans to see live game action all around the league from 1pm to 7:30pm once a teams gets inside the 20yd line. So basically you will get to see live TD from all the Games played at 1pm and 4pm.

This is the HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!! The Sunday Ticket has now lost it's APPEAL. And I have lost interest in women on Sundays-lol

Thanks for this! I'm coming from DirecTV with Sunday Ticket last year to Comcast this year. I love DirecTV but moved to a new apt where i can't get it.

Anyway, Redzone was my favorite thing about Sunday Ticket other than being able to watch all the Eagles games. I wasn't even aware I had these channels way down in the 700's.

Comcast is keeping pace with Directv. This is good news for me because I can't get DIrectv in my area either and always wanted the Ticket but after hearing about this channel I now can't wait until 9/13

Yeah, I don't mind Comcast either. Only thing I wish is that they had more hd channels. Directv has just about every channel in hd now where comcast is severely lacking still.

I dont really find this very appealing. A channel that just skips from game-to-game when teams enter the Red Zone?

I like watching the development and strategy of an entire drive. There is a lot more to football than scoring points.

I really wouldnt blame Time Warner too much. The NFL is a greedy organization and want an arm and a leg for their one channel. Time Warner has done a feasibility study and found that they would actually lose money from acquiring the rights for the channel. It's a business decision and apparently a wise one.

The NFL Network is pretty much crap except for during the 4 1/2 month season and even then it is only good when they show game capsules.
