I havent paid too much attn to the ravens this yr but where the heck did #99 come from?? He was all in peyton's grill the whole 2nd half....
Paul Kruger#99. Hadn't done much during his Raven career. The loss of Jarret Johnson and the Ravens lack of pass rush from anyone else afforded him an opportunity to start. The first half of the season he was the non-factor we knew him to be but then Suggs returned in November. Suggs is usually doubled teamed which makes guys like Kruger and McPhee#90 look like world beaters.
I was surprised by the outcome but Ravens came to play for all 4 qtrs. and then some, you have to hand it to them. It was an interesting game that is for sure.
We did an office pool where everyone got assigned one team. I drew first and got the Ravens. At the time I was very bummed, but now I'm only 2 wins away from a HUGE payday
So I'll be rooting for you guys the rest of the way :-)
A group of Ravens can have three different names depending on the activity of the group; a constable, an unkindness, or a conspiracy.
A constable of ravens refers historically to the group of ravens that congregated around the Tower of London; they were thought to be 'keeping watch' over the monarchy. Therefore, any time a grouping of these birds seems to be watching or guarding something, the group can be referred as a 'constable.'
They can also be called an unkindness or a conspiracy - likely for similar reasons. If a flock is driving off other predatory or carrion birds, or 'picking on' another species either because it is competition or prey (although they feed largely on already dead animals, they are known to work together to hunt if need be since they are extremely adaptive birds), then these are apt terms.

Early but fairly confident congrats to the Ravens.
Healed up a bit as a Bronco fan but understand that the Ravens came that close to being in the SB last year and here they are with a chance to see two bros play for it all.
If that be the case, I'd much rather see the AFC Ravens win and put a loss on that 5-0 record the 9ers are sporting.
I am loving it. We were the dark horse, joe was laughed at...and now he has taken down and outplayed the best! Redemption! And living in the pittsburgh area and walking around in my Ravens gear...priceless!

Congrats Ravens nation! This team played inspired in the second half. They deserve this. I'm pulling for Ray to end his career with a ring on top.
