This Samsung Plasma television has brought a whole new meaning to plasma high definition. Samsung's 3D Plasma Plus brings a great new experience with added realism and depth to the picture. It has a higher contrast to bring out deeper darks and whiter whites. The 1080 p resolution, along with the higher contrast ratio and the added subfields per frame, brings out the sharpest picture imaginable.
Samsung has fixed the problem with the jerky frames you would get with some of the earlier models, the picture is now smooth and sharp. They put 10 full subfields into each frame, that totals 600hz for a much smoother, crisper picture. To get the full effect of the 3D aspect of this television you will need the optional Samsung 3D glasses. This Samsung television has 3D processing to upgrade normal 2D to Samsung's 3D and with their Anynet Technology you can control any device that can be connected to the Samsung television.
Another great feature the have added is Samsung Apps, you can hook the internet directly to this television you can stream video from Netflix & Blockbuster. Some of the Apps that are available are You Tube, Facebook, Twiiter, Pandora (internet radio), Sports , Headlines from the Associated Press and many more Apps.
Samsung has made some great strides in the size of these televisions, this one is less than 1.4 inches thick and weighs less than 69 pounds. With a 6,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio it brings to you a stunning picture viewed from any angle. It also has Samsung's innovative 2010 Internet Connectivity Service package that offers the television owner customizable access to the internet. It will also let you play back your video recordings directly from your camcorder via a USB cable.
This Samsung 3D HDTV is so far above what was offered just a year ago, it makes it well worth upgrading from your current plasma television. There are many ways to enjoy movies, you can go to an IMAX theater, a walk in and see movies the old fashioned way, there are still a few drive in theaters, but the ultimate is in 3D and now you can enjoy this in the comfort of your own home. After viewing this television in my home for 2 weeks I was hooked, I have trouble watching our regular 50" plasma televisions. The difference is a drastic as the difference between the old "picture tube" television and the regular plasma. I never want to watch anything but the Samsung 3D television.
