We have a game room that's always packed with teenagers and part of the reason is because of our pool table. We wanted a billiards table that was functional but also a great conversation piece because we wanted to make the pool table the focal point of the room. Since we host tournaments, we didn't care to put a little extra money into the purchase. We wanted quality and something we could have for many years to come. Marlowe delivered.
We purchased the 8 Foot Marlowe Pool Table with burgundy Teflon coated felt, the rich wood seems to envelope the playing space. The raised panel trestle base was the main reason we purchased this table. There's a solid foundation and the woodwork is exceptional. Players don't have to worry about bumping the side with their hip and moving the entire table. This table isn't going anywhere.
The Marlowe looks like something that belongs in a museum. With a retail price point of nearly four thousand dollars, this piece is something to pass on to family members and not for an impulse purchase consideration. Sold with several options, the 8 Foot Marlowe Pool Table houses internal pockets and meticulously carved edges. The various upgraded options ensure every Marlowe Pool Table is a masterpiece.
There are cheaper billiards tables. However, I recommend the Marlowe table when a player is ready to step up their game and entertain other dedicated players. Accessory kit can be purchased for an additional price and numerous felt options are available. Additional products sold for a complete game room experience include matching bar stools, matching rack, and pub table.
This billiards table is high end and the price reflects that. However, there are pool tables out there that are pricey and they don't begin to touch the quality found in this particular model.
